[NEW YORK] Wall Street’s main indexes opened subdued on Wednesday (Jun 18), ahead of the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decision, as the Israel-Iran conflict that entered its sixth day kept investors on edge.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 20.2 points, or 0.05 per cent, at the open to 42,236.03.

The S&P 500 rose 5.2 points, or 0.09 per cent, at the open to 5,987.93, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 5.8 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 19,526.917 at the opening bell. REUTERS
