Crowned with Purpose: Bobbi Mendez Is the Reigning Queen of the World—And She

From styling sheep named Glitz and Glamour on a Mennonite farm in Lancaster County to glamming up celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Johnny Depp, Bobbi Mendez has always known one thing: she was born to shine–and to help others do the same.

Now crowned Mrs. Queen of the World 2025, one of the most prestigious international pageant titles in existence, Bobbi isn’t just wearing a crown–she’s wearing a mission. In a sparkling sash and heels, she’s walking runways, hosting empowerment summits, and bringing dignity to underserved communities worldwide.

“This isn’t just a crown–it’s a calling,” Bobbi tells Cosmo. “It’s a megaphone for everything I believe in: beauty with purpose, resilience with sparkle, and lifting others while you climb.”

From Barns to Ballrooms

Bobbi’s story reads like a modern fairy tale–with grit. Raised in a modest Mennonite household, she moved out on her own at 17 to pursue beauty school, armed only with fierce determination and a backpack full of dreams. “There were many times I felt out of place,” she admits. “But I held tight to my roots and reminded myself: You didn’t come this far just to come this far.”

She went on to build Glamour Room, now a multi-award-winning salon in Lancaster that has been named “Best Hair Salon” five years in a row. But her favorite part? “The Glamour Room is my love letter to every woman who’s ever felt unseen. It’s where tears turn into laughs and insecurities into struts.”

Crowning Confidence, Not Just Queens

The Queen of the World pageant celebrates women of influence across the globe–and Bobbi embodies that mission. With her authentic story, visible scars, and unapologetic presence, she’s redefined what royalty looks like.

“I actually wore a swimsuit that showed my scar–and it was one of the most powerful moments of my life. That scar is strength, survival, and beauty.”

She is living proof that real women–with real stories–are the new standard. “We don’t need to fit a mold. We are the mold-breakers.”

Building a Beautiful Legacy

While some queens collect crowns, Bobbi collects impact. Through her nonprofit Operation Dignity, she has served over 5,000 unhoused men, women, and children with hot meals, showers, haircuts, and “dignity bags”–self-care kits designed to restore confidence.

She also created Bussin Beauty, a program teaching underserved teens how to do makeup and embrace their identity through self-love and kindness. In 2024 alone, she taught over 6,000 students in schools across the U.S. through her Money Mindset program, which teaches teens how to budget, save, and dream like entrepreneurs.

And her global reach doesn’t stop there.

“I’m currently raising funds to build a playground in Uganda and distributing 10,000 dignity bags across Africa, India, and Singapore. These children deserve to play. These women deserve to feel seen.”

What’s Next for Queen Bobbi?

Her crown may sparkle, but Bobbi’s future shines even brighter. She’s working on a beauty and makeup line infused with purpose, where each product comes with a Bible verse or affirmation to remind women of their worth.

“I want women to look in the mirror each morning and be reminded: you are chosen, you are enough, you are powerful.”

Her dream? To turn the Glamour Room into a global movement–where beauty isn’t just applied, but awakened.

Bobbi Mendez is more than Mrs. Queen of the World 2025–she’s every woman who dared to rise despite the odds. And with every step she takes, she’s proving: the most beautiful thing a woman can wear is her purpose.
