‘Brawl’ Breaks Out Mid-Flight Over Ridiculous Reason

Flying to a vacation destination is supposed to be a fun and relaxing situation, but sometimes, it’s not.

During a Jetstar Airways flight from Melbourne, Australia, to Bali, Indonesia, on March 28, two men got into a crazy altercation, which started as an exchange of angry words and turned into a physical fight.

A passenger caught the whole exchange on video and shared it. The footage shows a man making motions and yelling at the man sitting next to him, asking, “Do you think this is enough?” He also called him out with some, well, colorful language, called him some nasty names and said the man was drunk.

When he turned back around, another man sitting a few rows over and behind the person who was yelling started climbing over filled seats to reach him. He started to try to punch the man, but another passenger got between them and tried to hold back the second person.

With the heated incident happening, flight crew members quickly came to the rescue and pulled the two passengers apart. Passengers on the plan can also be heard shouting, “No!”

Thankfully, crew members were able to break the fight up. In the video, one of the flight attendants is heard stating, “Alright, that’s enough, boys.” Eventually, everyone involved got back into their seats.

In a statement sent to People, a Jetstar Airways spokesperson stated, “We have a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive and abusive behavior on our flights. Our crew members are trained to de-escalate incidents involving unruly passengers and we thank them for how they managed this situation.”

Jetstar Airways also stated that the company’s “operations teams are currently investigating this incident.” No arrests were made.
