Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner video sparks bizarre theory

Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s latest Instagram video is raising eyebrows for an unusual reason, as some fans think the pair’s voices have been “changed.”

Kardashian shared a promotional video for Nick’s Ice Cream with her 308 million followers on Sunday. The clip shows the reality star making ice cream sundaes with her mom, using a variety of the brand’s flavors.

“Mom, it’s Sundae Funday,” the 39-year-old declares, flanked by a tower of Nick’s Ice Cream, sundae glasses, and toppings.

“I’m never going to say no to Sundae Funday, especially with Nick’s Ice Cream,” Jenner says as she walks into the shot and picks up a carton.

“There is no sugar in this,” Kardashian tells her mom, pointing to the tower of flavors. “They only have about 200 to 300 calories per pint, where other brands, it’s about four times the amount. So guilt free.”

“Give me a spoon already,” Jenner says, choosing tubs of “Mint Choclage Chip” and “Karamell.”

“Oh Karamell, with a ‘K,'” the 68-year-old continues. “Of course I’m choosing that one.”

After perusing the flavors and seemingly struggling to pronounce some of the names—such as “Chocklad cup” and “Peanut Chot”—Jenner asks her daughter: “Are we speaking a different language?”

“I don’t know,” Kardashian replies, as Jenner jokes: “I like the ice cream language.”

“Cookies and Krrrrrrmmmmm,” Kardashian says, rolling her tongue on the “R,” with her mom asking: “Are you French?”

Jenner attempts to mimic a Swedish accent, since the ice cream is made “Swedish style,” before the duo down to making their sundaes.

“Doesn’t taste like there’s no sugar,” Kardashian says, tasting her creation. “How much more of this can I have because this is incredible.”

“It’s so good,” Jenner agrees.

Instagram users took to the comments sections to share their thoughts on the video, but the top comment had little to do with the product.

“Why are the voices changed?” asked Rebecca Schimer (@bec_d_nic). “Kris’s is way off.”

“Okay thought it was just me,” commented Sabria Jones.

“[It’s] because they are trying to sell you something,” wrote @mella.Id, while Mackenzie McMurtrie suggested that the clip was just “slightly sped up.”

However, other users disagreed, with jenerz writing: “[It’s] cause they are being funny.”

“They sound the same,” agreed Chelsea.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan are often subject to bizarre theories and comments on their social media posts.

In April, a 2020 throwback photo that Kourtney Kardashian shared with her son Reign, then 5 years old, reignited unfounded theories that his dad is Justin Bieber.

The reality star is rumored to have had a brief romance with the Canadian singer following her split from her ex-partner Scott Disick in 2015, but Reign was born a year before Kardashian and Bieber supposedly began dating.

In March, a photo of Kim and Rob Kardashian caused a similar stir on Instagram. To celebrate her brother Rob’s birthday, the American Horror Story actress shared a throwback snap of the pair as teens to the platform.

However, the red-eye effect from the camera led to accusations that the siblings are members of the “Illuminati.” The conspiracy theory claims that a top-secret organization covertly runs the world, supposedly including celebrities, politicians and other notable public figures.
