Lions Are ‘Hoping’ Aidan Hutchinson Could Return For Playoffs
The Detroit Lions are hopeful defensive star Aidan Hutchinson could return for the playoffs. Hutchinson has shown promising progress in his recovery.
Hutchinson, 24, suffered a broken tibia and fibula in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys. The defensive end was carted off the field and many speculated he sustained a season-ending injury.
However, Detroit believes Hutchinson could return for the NFC Championship game, should the team make it that far. As part of his rehab, Hutchinson has been doing underwater running and is already walking without crutches.

The Lions lead the NFC North and already clinched a playoff spot after their 34-31 win over the Green Bay Packers Thursday night. Aside from the Kansas City Chiefs, the Lions are a favorite to win the Super Bowl.
