Raffles Medical names former Paragon Reit CFO Woo Yeng Yeng as new finance chief
She will oversee corporate finance, tax, treasury and investor relations, among other matters
[SINGAPORE] Raffles Medical has appointed Woo Yeng Yeng as its new chief financial officer (CFO), effective Wednesday (Oct 1).
Prior to her new role, Woo served as CFO and head of investor relations at Paragon Real Estate Investment Trust (Reit), where she oversaw finance matters, corporate governance and strategy. She also previously served as head of finance at CapitaLand Investment (International), where she handled finance operations in Australia, Japan, South Korea, Europe and the US.
“Woo is a seasoned finance leader with over 20 years (of) experience across real estate, hospitality and capital markets, with expertise in financial strategy, governance and investor relations,” the company said on Tuesday.
As CFO of Raffles Medical, she will oversee corporate finance, tax, treasury and investor relations, among other matters.
Dr Loo Choon Yong, executive chairman of Raffles Medical, said that her “proven track record and breadth of international experience” will contribute positively to its sustainable growth.
Woo holds a bachelor of accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and a master of commerce (international business) from the University of New South Wales in Australia.
She is also a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Raffles Medical shares finished Tuesday flat at S$0.98, before the news.
