Soilbuild Construction signs new contracts totalling S$178.6 million

The builder says the deals enhance revenue visibility and took its order book to around S$1.21 billion as at end-May

[SINGAPORE] Soilbuild Construction said it has secured new contracts with an aggregate value of around S$178.6 million.

These include the contract to build a 10-storey, multiple-user industrial development in Lok Yang Way in western Singapore, the builder said in an exchange filing on Wednesday (Jul 9).

The project, to be completed by the first quarter of 2027, is to be built to specifications that would earn it the Building and Construction Authority’s eco-sustainable rating.

Soilbuild also signed precast and prefabrication contracts to supply and deliver precast components to HDB projects, which are expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2028.

The mainboard-listed company said the new deals add more revenue visibility, and took the group’s order book to around S$1.21 billion at end-May.

In its latest financial year ended Dec 31, 2024, Soilbuild’s revenue rose 58 per cent on year to S$391.8 million.

Soilbuild’s executive director and group chief executive officer Lim Han Ren said in the statement that the new contracts reflect the company’s “capabilities as a green builder and represent continued momentum” in its path to growth.

Its shares gained S$0.01, or 1.2 per cent, to close at S$0.87, before the announcement.
