US: Wall St opens slightly higher after Trump-led rally

[NEW YORK] Wall Street’s main indexes edged up on Tuesday (Mar 25) as investors assessed implications of impending reciprocal tariffs on the heels of US President Donald Trump’s subtle indication of potential leniency in his trade policy approach.
At 09.30 am ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 108.37 points, or 0.25 per cent, to 42,691.69, the S&P 500 gained 10.68 points, or 0.19 per cent, to 5,778.25 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 21.87 points, or 0.12 per cent, to 18,210.47. REUTERS
