[NEW YORK] Wall Street’s main indexes opened higher on Friday (Sep 26), after the latest inflation data came in line with expectations, easing concerns that persistent price pressures could delay interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 154.1 points, or 0.34 per cent, at the open to 46,101.45.

The S&P 500 rose 10.7 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 6,615.38, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 18.6 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 22,403.273. REUTERS
