Viral video of Don Jr. and Eric at Trump Winery uncorks jokes

Video of Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump at their family winery has made its way across social media on Tuesday, uncorking an outpouring of jokes and criticisms.

Donald Trump’s sons have been vocal supporters of their father amid his 2024 reelection bid and have also greatly condemned the legal cases against their father as they both recently spoke outside the New York courthouse during Trump’s criminal hush money case, in which he was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records.

In an Instagram story posted on Monday, Trump Jr., the eldest son of the former president, shared a video of his brother Eric walking through Trump Cidery, an expansion of the family’s winery business in Charlottesville, Virginia, as he joked about Eric’s pants.

“I know it’s Pride Month, but wtf bro? He deleted but like a good brother I have receipts. And please comment on Eric’s pants!” Trump Jr. wrote on his Instagram story.

Newsweek has reached out to Trump Jr. spokesperson via email and Eric via the Trump Winery online form for comment.

According to Trump Jr., his brother had originally posted the video to Trump Cidery’s Instagram stories, which has now been deleted.

Eric, the owner of Trump Winery, has recently opened Trump Cidery on June 7 after he filed paperwork with the State Corporation Commission in November to establish the cidery as a new business. The winery had been previously purchased by his father in 2011, who later chose to give it to his son.

However, following Trump Jr.’s post, some have taken to X, formerly Twitter to share the video to joke and take aim at the former president’s son.

X user Patriot Takes shared the video, which has garnered over 250,000 views, writing, “Don Jr. posts deleted video, suggest his brother Eric might be gay for wearing these pants.”

Steve Bannon’s War Room CFO Grace Chong wrote on X, “This is hilarious @DonaldJTrumpJr.”

X user JoJoFromJerz wrote, ” HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA also why did all the Trump’s fail ‘how to walk like a normal f****** person and not a douchebag’ class?!??”

Meanwhile, editor-in-chief of liberal media outlet MeidasTouch, Ron Filipkowski took aim at Eric writing, “Eric pretending to do manual labor in spiffy white pants. Everything these people do is fake and staged.”

In addition, X user Common Sense also took aim at Eric’s pants writing, “I always do my gardening in white pants (easier to spot dirt on them) and a pullover with a shirt underneath. That’s pretty much standard gardening apparel.”

This comes as Trump and President Joe Biden became the presumptive 2024 Republican and Democratic presidential nominees respectively in March as both continue to campaign ahead of November’s election. Their first debate is set for June 27, with a second one in September.
